I help clients resolve conflicts, solve problems, and improve their relationships using transformative mediation and facilitation.

After more than a decade as a trial attorney in private practice litigating juvenile, elder law, trust, and estate issues, I developed a personal perspective on how our adversarial legal system is causing unnecessary harm to families in conflict. I closed my law practice in 2021* to refocus my work on mediation and consulting.

I've been certified in transformational mediation since 2018 and licensed as an Oregon Real Estate Agent since 2020 (OR License #201238061**). I obtained my Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation from the National Association of Realtors in 2022. With these skills, I work with older people and intergenerational family groups on plans for aging-in-place, down-sizing, creating intergenerational households, and managing senior living issues.

Before law school, I was an undergraduate admission counselor for the University of Puget Sound. During graduate school at the University of Oregon, I advised undergraduate students in the International Studies Department. Using this expertise, I love working with high school students on their post-secondary plans to discover what lights them up.

I live in the Alameda Neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, with my husband, two teenage daughters, and my mother. We've been a three-generation household since 2008 and had an ADU built in 2013. We do our best to walk the walk on multigenerational living, parenting, and community, even if we stumble from time to time.
